1. Purpose
This Merchant Agreement sets out the terms under which a merchant uses Affqik to operate affiliate programs for supported stores.
2. Merchant responsibilities
The merchant is responsible for its store, products, affiliate program rules, commission rates, shopper discounts, refund window and affiliate relationships.
The merchant is also responsible for reviewing and approving affiliates and complying with applicable laws and platform rules.
3. Platform fee
Affqik charges a 2% platform fee on the order total of confirmed sales attributed through an affiliate link or coupon.
The platform fee is separate from the affiliate commission set by the merchant.
There is no subscription fee, setup fee or monthly minimum. Cancelled and refunded orders do not incur the platform fee.
4. Billing
Confirmed platform fees are billed through a monthly invoice. Payment can be made by UPI or bank transfer.
A reminder is shown 5 days after the due date. If an invoice remains unpaid 15 days after its due date, the account and affiliate programs are paused until payment is recorded. They are restored automatically once payment is recorded.
5. Paying affiliates
The merchant is responsible for paying affiliates directly.
Affqik does not hold affiliate funds, operate a payment gateway or guarantee automated or instant payouts.
The merchant reviews payout requests, pays the affiliate using the available UPI information and records the payout in Affqik.
6. Affiliate relationships
The merchant controls who joins its program. The merchant may approve, reject, suspend or reinstate affiliates in accordance with the product functionality and its program rules.
7. Attribution
Affqik supports affiliate link and coupon attribution. Where both apply, the coupon takes priority over an older unrelated affiliate link.
8. Order status and refunds
Commission follows order status. Confirmed commission is available only after the configured refund window closes.
Cancelled and refunded orders become Void.
9. Compliance
The merchant is responsible for ensuring that its affiliate program, promotions, products, discounts and communications comply with applicable law.
